Diamond Fc suffers defeat to Panasoca

Pan Africa Soccer Academy continues its seriousness with football as they had another friendly match with Diamond Fc, a div. 3 club in Ho. The match was played a day after they shared the spoils, 0-0 with Area 51 at Ziavi on Wednesday.

Played at the Ho Sports Stadium on Thursday, August 31, the home side squandered lots of chances but eventually won 5-2.

Jones Mensah got a brace in 2 minutes after scoring in 22’ and 24’.  Reginald Commodore added the third goal with a brilliant shot in the 35’ which took the game to break.

Diamond Fc who failed to graduate to regional division 2 league last season after making the Middle league appearance had to fight back to get a consolation through Nana Poku in the 58’.

Panasoca added its fourth goal through new kid Richard Kudahor in the 70’.

More chances were created from Panasoca but scored none until Humble Tutu latched onto a pass from Commodore to make it 5-1 in the 80’.

Fantastic Nana Poku got a brace after he shocked the Panasoca defence while they sleep in the 84’.

Head Coach Asamoah Dzifa, who wants his players to be used to the Sub Middle league system, tells his boys were complacent and praised his opponents for giving them a good game.

“I was not satisfied with my boys although we won. They underrated their opponents and I didn’t like it. You know, we have to prepare ourselves for that because the Sub Middle League will be played in 3 days and 3 matches, so I don’t agree in the assertion of fatigue on the part of my players. I’m expecting them to be like Soldiers, who can be called to play anytime. My opponents did well, I didn’t expect that from them and I have to say their two goals where superb. ”

Panasoca continues training on Friday, September 1 in preparation towards their home game against Diamond Stars Fc on Sunday.
